These stunning woven palm baskets with olive or natural handles are made from recycled materials and are stylish, lightweight, sustainable and strong.
Handmade by farmers in Morocco using traditional methods, they are handwoven from strips of fallen palm fronds which are sewn together in rounds - and incorporates sustainable by-products that would otherwise have gone to waste.. It creates income for farmers during the winter months. Each basket is unique - no two are exactly the same.
These baskets can be repurposed once they have been used as a bag and can be home composted by removing the straps. Don't store folded or in damp areas.
The round leather handles are medium length and have been riveted and stitched for extra strength - great for carrying over the shoulder.
Approx 50cm in height, 32cm in diameter at the base. The handle is approx 60cm.
